Here’s how it works: When a guest books a trip, they pay Outdoorsy. We then hold those funds until 48 hours after their trip starts. That’s when we release your payout to you.

A percentage of your payout goes to Outdoorsy, so we can maintain and operate a safe, high-quality platform that protects you, your vehicle, and your guests. That includes costs related to guest identity verification, reservation screening, other trust and safety measures, and marketing your listing to drive bookings.

This is known as your host fee. We automatically take it out of your payout before releasing the money to you.

How and when do I get paid?

We’ll automatically deposit your money into your bank account 48 hours after your guest starts their trip. Don’t worry, we use banking-level, secure online payments to keep everyone’s info safe.

Just a heads up that it usually takes 3 – 5 business days for banks to post that cash to your account.
