Peace of mind can be hard to come by these days, but you can find it easily by purchasing the Premium protection package while renting through Outdoorsy. Along with our lowest deductible offering and highest liability protection, Accident Interruption is included at no additional cost to this package. This means if a renter is unable to continue their trip due to an accident Outdoorsy will directly refund the unused days and fees from their booking so they can book an alternative without delay, and get back to enjoying the great outdoors without Outdoorsy owners bearing the cost of the refund.

This coverage only applies to covered accidents and does not extend to mechanical breakdowns.

If a renter does not opt into the Premium plan, owners may still opt to provide a refund in the event of an accident. If a third party is found liable for the damage, Outdoorsy will pursue the refunded amounts through subrogation of the third party’s insurance carrier.
